Swinging moorings at North Fambridge - Dawn.
I will be sorry to leave North Fambridge and the river Crouch for many reasons.
The friends that I've made.
When the winds not blowing a gale, this part of the river is like paradise.
The great service from Toby and Paul at the Yacht station.
The ferryboat inn (500 years old).
The neat little station - 20 minutes walk away.
The whole area has so much to do - with easy access to Bradwell & Brightlingsea.
The little bolt holes where I have tucked in for the night at anchor.
8 swallow fledglings that adopted Blazer while anchored
in Yokesfleet - very early one morning last year.
The wildlife - especially the seals.
So why leave?
I have always wanted to explore Brittany by boat, having had so many holidays there in the past.
And I can always come back - There is no fixed plan.
Mike.
